UK, 24 th  September: Cas Paton, Founder and CEO of the online marketplace OnBuy.com, was

last night awarded Entrepreneur of the Year at the annual South West Business Leader Awards

2021.

Cas, who is based between Bournemouth and Manchester, was crowned the winner of the

prestigious award at a glamorous black-tie ceremony in Bristol, having been chosen from more

than 300 talented entrants.

The event was hosted by well-known comedian Tom Allen, celebrating businesses and

entrepreneurs from all over the South West region. The in-person event recognised the

achievements and successes from the past year.

Whilst unable to attend the physical event, Cas was delighted to hear of his win, commenting “it

was a huge honour to be shortlisted for this award, let alone winning it. I know the talent pool

was particularly strong this year, with many other entrepreneurs who have had to learn to adapt

to the new world we live in and challenges we’ve faced.

“It has been an incredible journey to date, and I’m proud to take home this award which will be

shared with my whole team at OnBuy, without whom I would not be collecting this accolade.

“The OnBuy story has really only just started, so the future is looking very exciting.”

Accepting the award on Cas’ behalf, Senior Brand Manager of OnBuy, Rosie Groves said, “we

were honoured to collect this exceptional award for Cas. It is a great achievement that has

made the whole team proud. The event was fantastic and it was wonderful to meet the other

shortlisted leaders for a wonderful evening of awards and entertainment.”
