WorkLife by OpenMoney, the employee benefits platform, has enhanced its offering with the launch of an Employee Recognition Centre.

Designed to boost peer-to-peer engagement and help employers connect more closely with workers, the new add-on allows employees to share and celebrate in colleagues’ achievements, while enabling managers to mark major milestones such as work anniversaries or birthdays. Accessible on any desktop or mobile device, it also provides a means of seamlessly signposting workers to available benefits and support.

This latest development forms part of WorkLife’s continued drive to helping employers to maximise engagement with their benefits package and explore new means of enriching employees’ overall wellbeing.

Commenting on the launch, Niamh McLaughlin, managing director at WorkLife, commented: “Having employees who feel valued, and part of a company’s success is so important to maintaining a positive culture and ethos, however this has become much tougher to achieve in the current working environment. Our Small Business Monitor research in fact shows that some 22% of SMEs are worried about the impact of longer-term remote working on employee engagement and retention[1].

“By offering a one-stop-shop for employees to connect with colleagues, access company news and success stories and receive timely reminders about workplace benefits, our new Employee Recognition Centre seeks to provide an overall richer engagement experience for users, while helping to build an environment whereby people want to stay and strive to support a company’s long-term growth.’

Available from today, the introductory cost of WorkLife’s Employee Recognition Centre is just £2 per employee per annum.
