March 2022: Architas, a part of the global AXA Group, has launched their E.P.I.C Global Equity Opportunities Fund, offering investors access to a new fund with a sustainability focus at its core.
The fund allows investors to make ethical and prosperous investment choices (E.P.I.C), utilising Architas multi-manager expertise to bring together what they believe to be the best fund managers available into one product for individuals to invest in.
The fund will be made available to investors over 2022 and beyond, and gives investors access to three major themes centred around digital transformation, health & wealth and sustainable planet.
The fund is classified Article 9 under the European Union Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), which means it must focus on sustainable investing as its objective. The fund commits to having 100% of its total assets (excluding cash) invested in securities Architas believe are sustainable investments based on their extensive research.
Matthieu Andre, CEO at Architas, said:
“As a retail multi-manager, Architas is committed to sustainable investing. We include environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria in all of our fund selection and investment solutions, ensuring that we are aligned to the overall AXA group’s purpose, and leveraging the best opportunities across AXA Investment Managers and third-party asset managers. This enables us to build stronger propositions for our clients.
E.P.I.C Global Equity Opportunities provides investors with access to a fund that is specifically focussed on a sustainable investment objective, ensuring their investments are being made in line with the highest regulatory requirements in sustainable investing.”
Zaid Alrifai, Head of Asia at Architas, adds:
“From our cornerstone research report we conducted last year into investor attitudes towards sustainable investing and ESG, we know that the desire for these types of products is growing rapidly in Asia. By launching the E.P.I.C Global Equity Opportunities Fund, we are expanding our commitment to sustainable investing and delivering a product that aligns with our investors wants and needs.”
