  • Capricorn continues growth strategy as it joins Fiducia, one of the UK’s leading Financial Advice Networks, as an advice and recommendation service (AR) for commercial lending
  • The London-based financial consultancy will remain an AR of Openwork for residential lending
  • A market leader in arranging finance for overseas clients, the financial consultancy also announces plans to open new offices in Shanghai and Dubai in 2023

Monday 5th December 2022: Capricorn Financial Consultancy today announces that, as of 6th December, it will be joining financial advice network, Fiducia Group, as an advice and recommendation service (AR) for commercial lending. The strategic decision is based on the firms’ shared ethos and culture, with both championing high standards and a growth-focused mindset.

Coming towards the end of what has been a successful year of growth for the consultancy, upon joining, Capricorn will become Fiducia’s largest AR. Capricorn joins Fiducia from CFBUK, where it was previously an AR for commercial lending. Capricorn will remain an AR of Openwork for residential lending.

In further news, Capricorn, a market leader in arranging finance for overseas clients buying UK property, has also announced that it will be expanding into Shanghai and Dubai next year. The new office openings will add to the consultancy’s existing international presence, with offices already established in Singapore and Hong Kong.

In addition to its expertise in the central London residential and new build sectors, Capricorn is also renowned for its International, Commercial, and Private Finance divisions which specialise in loans exceeding £2m, and other bespoke client needs which do not tend to fit traditional high street criteria.

Jeremy Law, Chief Commercial Officer, Capricorn Financial Consultancy commented:

“Since starting our journey on Fleet Street in 2005, we’ve always maintained an ambitious outlook as part of our growth strategy. Following what has been a successful 12 months, the next natural step was to choose Fiducia as our commercial partner. Our commitment to our clients is unwavering, and we are thrilled to be working with Fiducia, which shares the same level of dedication to stakeholders in the mortgage industry. As we move into 2023, we are also delighted to announce the openings of our offices in Shanghai and Dubai, as we continue our global expansion.”

Anthony Scott, Managing Director, Fiducia Group added:

“At Fiducia, we understand what it takes to be at the top within our industry. We’ve seen Capricorn consistently hit the mark in its efforts to deliver the best services for its clients, and we’re delighted to join forces as their commercial partner. We’re looking forward to driving continued growth in the new year, and it’ll be a pleasure to work with Jeremy and the team to meet the changing demands of the sector.”
