From Odd Jobs to Insurance Innovation: The Journey of Joseph Gonzalez and Level Up Insurance

Contrast a bustling city with skyscrapers and a small town with a strong connection with nature. Experiencing life from both places provides insight into different lifestyles.

Born in Miami, Florida, the Founder and CEO of Level Up Insurance, Joseph Gonzalez, adapted to various lifestyles due to his family business. Joseph’s family moved to a small town called Las Tablas, Panama.

Joseph adapted to his new life of luxury. He shares, “My family had businesses and we lived very well. I had a maid, attended private school, and had access to anything that a 12-year-old could want.”

When Joseph was 12, his family’s business had trouble, so the family moved back to Miami. They left the luxuries behind and went back to an urban hustle lifestyle.

From private drivers to public buses, Joseph’s life took a 180-degree shift.

Joseph recalls, “We would catch public transportation everywhere. My mother held multiple jobs, including house cleaning, restaurant work, and gas station clerk positions, to provide for our family. I once again had to adapt, and I did.”

Joseph took on jobs to contribute to family expenses. His professional journey started at 16 with a job at a retail store.

He graduated from Miami Coral Park Senior High and enrolled in college. He realized that traditional education was not for him. He was more of a practical, hands-on type of guy.

At 19, Joseph started in sales. In one month, he made a $3,500 commission, so he dropped out of college. He discovered his passion for sales.

Joseph was promoted to sales leader then to assistant general manager, then as General Manager at 22 and then to Regional Manager.

He started B2B gigs and dabbled in a range of businesses – electronic wholesale, IT, and security. Joseph also worked as a loan broker, but everything failed as he had insufficient capital to keep the businesses running.

One of Joseph’s ex-bosses introduced him to the insurance industry. It was perfect with low investment but higher commission rates.

That is the foundation of Level Up Insurance — a company providing personalized health and life insurance.

Level Up Insurance offers insurance plans that guarantee maximum coverage to its clients. Whether it is a health insurance plan, life insurance plan, or both, it all contributes to a stable financial future. It doesn’t matter if one’s single, married, old, or young — the best time to get an insurance policy is now.

Currently, this company is serving more than 15000 clients and has 300 independent agents.

From a small town to leading a trailblazing insurance company, Joseph has come a long way. His journey demonstrates that anyone can forge their own path. Find out more about Joseph Gonzalez and Level Up Insurance on Instagram and Facebook
