AnywhereWorks, the team collaboration and business service provider, will welcome two Scottish interns to their rapidly growing global team this June to take part in a ten-week exclusive internship.

Recent graduates, Erin Johnston, a Business Management student at Edinburgh Napier University, and Amber Torrance, a Graphic Design Student at Glasgow School of Art, will both support the Mattering (Marketing) & Impact team in achieving their 2022 core visions.

The pair were selected through The Saltire Scholar Programme which is delivered by Entrepreneurial Scotland Foundation. The programme partners organisations with top talent from universities across Scotland to provide valuable work experience to candidates through an 8-12 week internship. The Saltire Scholar Programme seeks to match companies with talented students, following a strict recruitment and selection process.

Fraser Wilson, Director of Mattering (Marketing) & Impact said: “At AnywhereWorks, we’re passionate about finding great people to help us deliver business growth and achieve our mission. We’ve been impressed by the quality of candidate applications received through the Saltire Scholar Internship Programme, and we’re excited to welcome both Erin and Amber into the team! During their internships, they will learn about the business, key marketing functions and will gain hands-on experience, across a variety of exciting global projects”

Gillian McGill, Business Engagement Manager for Entrepreneurial Scotland Foundation added “Through our Saltire Scholars Programme, we find, fuel and spark the next generation of entrepreneurial talent who will go on to make a significant impact to the Scottish economy. We are delighted that AnywhereWorks is providing this transformational opportunity for our 2022 Saltire Scholars, who will gain valuable work experience, whilst igniting their leadership potential. We can’t wait to follow Erin and Amber on their journey with AnywhereWorks and beyond.”

In recent years, AnywhereWorks has experienced significant growth within its Mattering department, almost tripling in size. The transition from “Marketing” to “Mattering” grew from a desire to make their work mission matter more. The Mattering department will focus on supporting people and the planet through a range of “Giving back” initiatives. The current Mattering team consists of over 30 employees, spread globally across the US, Canada, UK and India.
